Kinetic identified an opportunity to add a premium solution to their current bike trainer lineup. WhiteBoard led a Discovery, Ideation, and Definition meeting to review current product line and competitive trainers. The focus narrowed to combining a direct-drive system with a platform that allows the bike and rider to move naturally on the trainer. WhiteBoard process started with a functional Proof of Concept prototype to gain rider insight and understand mechanical requirements. The functional prototype was used as an underlay for aesthetic ideation and engineering refinement to efficiently get to “the one”.
